There are several parallels to Scottie Pippen's signature sneaker line and basketball career. They both have never received the recognition they deserve, and have lived in the shadows of other more flashy or popular players/collections. The last signature sneaker release for Pippen came in 2001 with the Air Pippen V, and now Nike is finally following up that release with the anticipated Air Pippen 6. This latest model features many design elements inspired by the Pippen line, and even has the original Pippen logo on the tongue.
