Nike Mercurial Flyknit IX

Nike Sportswear’s obsession with the Mercurial line continues as the soccer-inspired Nike Mercurial Flyknit IX is back with the perfect combination of University Red and Black for a head-turning colorway that will be hard to pass up on. The Nike Zoom Mercurial IX Flyknit takes inspiration from Ronaldo’s infamous boots back in 1998 but also brings another late 90s icon with it – the Nike Zoom Spiridon – by outfitting the bottom with the Zoom technology found in that cult-classic running model.

Jordan Dub Zero

One of Jordan Brand’s hybrid concoctions, the Dub Zero, is making a comeback in November. This mash-up last made waves in early 2015, releasing in several colorways that all wound out on clearance racks nationwide. Still, Jordan Brand plans on a big Dub Zero push this Holiday season, with several colorways in both mens and kids sizes in the works beginning in November, and it starts with this “Oreo” colorway for November 9th.

Nike Sb "Sea Crystal"

It’s been over a decade since we last saw the Nike SB Dunk High Pro “Sea Crystal”, a unique colorway that turned heads thanks to an Ice Green suede combination that had Dunk fanatics running out to get more than one pair given how easily the suede faded and attracted dirt. Nike Skateboarding has been bringing back some of their most iconic creations for a retro treatment, but has been given original high-tops the low-top treatment and vice versa for a slight deviation from the norm. While we’d love to see a true and through retro of the Nike Dunk Sea Crystal, this Nike SB Dunk Low take on the retro colorway definitely warrants some attention.

Nike Air Foamposite pro Dr Doom

2017 will be the year of the Foamposite as Eric Avar’s iconic design will be celebrating its 20th anniversary. The stories behind the head-turning silhouette are as legendary as the model itself. From Scottie Pippen turning down the design for one of his signatures to Penny Hardaway having to hand-color in some tiger stripes with a Sharpie to follow NBA rules a the time, the Nike Air Foamposite One and Nike Air Foamposite Pro each come with plenty of tall tales from its early years. The Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Dr. Doom” will kick things off early with a release on November 25th, but what other Foamposite retro colorways do you want to see brought back for the two-decade celebration?

It’s that time of year when the likes of Nike Sportswear, adidas Originals, and even ASICS Tiger dust off some of their retro running offerings and have their designers re-imagine those silhouettes as winterized boots to help keep you comfortable and not too far outside of your comfort zone for a sneaker-centric approach to conquering the winter elements. For NSW, they’ll be breaking out the freshly minted Nike Zoom Talaria Mid Flyknit in 3 colorways come this December 2016.

Adidas Tubular X Primeknit

Already the most tough, bold, and menacing looking model in the adidas Tubular family, the Tubular X Primeknit gets even more mean with this latest “Triple Black” look. The Primeknit-constructed version of the Tubular X gets outfitted in black from its extra high top to the ribbed midsole at the bottom for the always popular all-black-everything appearance. Actually we’re deceiving you with the “Triple Black” nickname just a bit, as these also have a small dose of dark grey threading interwoven into the toe and heel. Whatever you want to call them, they’re no doubt the toughest Tubular X yet. Pairs are arriving now at select adidas Originals suppliers.

Vans Toy Story´s Collab

You’ve seen multiple Disney characters on Vans sneakers before, and it looks like another major collab between the beloved animated film makers and the classic California sneaker brand is now going to infinity and beyond. That’s right, Toy Story characters are coming to your favorite Vans models. Buzz, Woody, and even Bo Peep and the aliens are all represented on the sneakers we see here in this early preview of the Disney/Pixar collaboration with Vans, and it looks like they even come complete with Andy’s name on each sole.

Nike Lebron Soldier 10 "Christ the King"

Nike Mag Release Date

The fully functional power-lacing Nike Mag seen in Back To The Future II will officially release tomorrow, October 4th. The shoes will be released via auctions, just like the Mag 2011 release, with all proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.  The average selling price for the Mags in 2011 were around $4,500, but given that these are the real deal, we expect the average prices to be at least double.

Air Jordan 10 Blake Griffin´s PE

Blake Griffin is coming off of a disappointing season that was plagued by injuries, miscues, and mistakes – but that only means that Blake is more motivated to make amends and return back to his peak All-NBA form this season. Jordan Brand is ready for Blake to finally return to the court too, as they’ve given him this Air Jordan 10 Blake Griffin PE featuring Infrared and Game Royal accents for a truly original look. The Clippers inspired Air Jordan 10 design even dons a hidden camouflage lining for a unique twist while Blake’s ’32’ PE is stitched onto the side panel so there’s no doubt as to who this pair was made for. Air Jordan XXX3 "Florida Marlins"

The Miami Marlins and baseball fans everywhere are still going through the emotional rollercoaster of losing José Fernández. SoleFly has teamed up with Jordan Brand for an homage to the Miami baseball team that might help lighten the mood in South Florida come October thanks to the release of the SoleFly Air Jordan XX3 Florida Marlins.

The Air Jordan XX3 still stands as one of the best post-playing career Jordan signature models, and while the Jumpman has tinkered with the silhouette only a handful of times in recent years, SoleFly’s take should definitely turn heads thanks to a South Beach-inspired teal primary color. The Air Jordan 23 references the days when the Marlins were Florida’s team before the Miami rebrand and switch to their current orange shade. The Air Jordan XX3 Florida Marlins utilizes a premium monochromatic teal leather construction to stand out while SoleFly’s signature ‘SF’ logo is stitched onto the tongue.

Nike SFAF-1

Previously on display at the Nike SNKRS Out The Box exhibit at this past weekend’s Yo’Hood show in Shanghai, the Nike SFAF-1, or the Special Field Air Force 1, adapts military-grade materials and aesthetic to the classic Kilgore silhouette, with an SFB-infused upper built with premium leather and extra-durable ballistic nylon. The paracord ankle strap also doubles as a handle for a matching bag that comes accompanied with the NikeLab release of the shoes. Designed by Nike Sportswear footwear designer Ben Kirschner, the Nike Special Field Air Force 1 is set for a release in November with an MSRP of $180. 

Air Jordan "Shattered Backboard" Pack

Jordan Brand’s “Shattered Backboard” Collection is almost here featuring a brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 31, each paying homage to the time Michael Jordan took flight in an exhibition game in Italy and broke the backboard with his aerial assault. The Air Jordan 1 Reverse Shattered Backboard and Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard will both release next Saturday, October 8th featuring a beautiful combination of Starfish orange, off-white Sail, and Black accents to pay homage to that fateful day in the summer of 1985 when MJ opened up his international appeal. Today we get a look at official imagery of both premium pairs as well as a bit of new background information on the two releases.

Adidas Ultra Boost Reigning Champ

Vancouver’s own Reigning Champ has been the de facto brand in the category of premium lifestyle sweats for quite some time. The lifestyle imprint has even taken steps to enter the footwear world with a premium ASICS collaboration earlier this year followed by their first adidas Originals collaboration with the adidas Ultra Boost.

A normal collaborative effort wouldn’t cut it for Reigning Champ either, as one of the most popular silhouettes is getting an overhaul inspired by their menswear hoodies as the Primeknit upper gets a facelift. The added wool-like marbling on this Black/White offering should add even more comfort for this Fall/Winter driven adidas Ultra Boost. Reigning Champ keeps things relatively simple otherwise, as a black cage overlay matches the base and Continental rubberized bottom. An ‘RC’ logo hits the tongue so there’s no doubt as to who is responsible for this premium Ultra Boost.

Nike AIr Python Red

After what seems like a hibernation period, the Nike Air Python is back and ready to strike once again in new premium looks this fall. The first new colorway we’ve spotted out in the wild is this premium edition in deep red suede embossed with a python skin texture across its entirety, with a contrasting white midsole and a gum rubber outsole to finish the clean and stylish appearance. Python fans can hunt down their pair at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Sole Classics this fall.

Under Armour "The Rock" Signature Shoe

s there a busier man in show business than Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson? The professional wrestler turned actor/ overall inspiring workout aficionado seems to have a new movie in the works every few months, but his latest production isn’t a film, but instead his first signature sneaker with Under Armour. It wasn’t too long ago that we previewed The Rock’s signature shoes, but today we get a better look at the silhouette, now known as the UA Delta.

Under Armour’s entry into the cross-training category features a high-arching neoprene ankle collar similar to what we’ve seen on the UA Curry 2.5 while a flexible mesh base allows not only breathability but lockdown support. Flexible grooves on the outsole’s forefoot allow for easy maneuvering while at the gym.

Nike SB Dunk Low "Orange"

Nike Skateboarding is referencing the history of the shoebox with the next week’s release of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Orange Box” on October 6th. The orange shoebox is forever recognized as an integral part of Nike SB’s early years, as it housed some of the most iconic Nike SB Dunk offerings during the early 2000s.

The Nike SB Dunk Low Orange Box comes equipped with a premium construction of beige and orange leather throughout to mirror the original cardboard boxing, but that’s not all. This special Nike SB Dunk also features an actual shoebox embossed on the heel for an added nod to the unspoken language of hunting down the perfect pair while the insole features a unique graphic of stacked shoeboxes showcasing the history of different colors and aesthetics over the years. Nike SB boxes ranging from pink, blue, grey, orange, and black are all drawn on the footbed in cartoonish simplicity for a nice hidden homage to the imprint’s growth over the past decade and a half.

Adidas Seeulater

Nike may have had their All Conditions Gear classic hiking and trail silhouettes, but did you know that adidas EQT branched out in the same direction back in the early 90s with the adidas SEEULATER OG? The unique trail silhouette flawlessly blended sneaker technology with boot features like a rugged and durable outsole unit while a sock-like ankle support system was ahead of its time and can be found on most new lifestyle releases today. While we’ve seen new Primeknit renditions of the Adidas SEEULATER and an upcoming collaboration with mita sneakers, today we have some good news: two OG colorways will be returning on October 21st featuring gaudy 90s thematics and premium constructions.

Air Jordan 1 "Heiress"

The latest in the Jordan Brand “Heiress” Collection makes use of luxurious maroon red velvet and hints of metallic gold. We’ve seen it on the Air Jordan 1, but the big kahuna has finally revealed itself – the Air Jordan 11 “Heiress”. Shedding the patent leather mudguard, the Heiress 11s features the velvety material with a smooth dark maroon upper, white midsole, and golden accents on the Jumpman, “23” on the heel, and the stripe on the tongue. The Nike Roshe Two gets ready for autumn with this new women’s colorway to match the dark red shades of the falling leaves. The “Dark Cayenne” edition features the spicy red hue across its foam-mesh upper tonally, with the new and improved Roshe outsole in white below. Ladies on the lookout for the Roshe Two can find these arriving at select Nike Sportswear suppliers like Rock City Kicks right now.

New Balance Fall 2016

New Balance takes a photographic journey through time for their latest Made in USA collection for fall 2016, featuring all your favorite premium retro runners in monochromatic colorways. Each look is meant to represent the muted colors you’ll find in old color or black and white images found in photo albums of the past. Beginning October 1st and extending through December 1st with different models release intermittently, the collection contains the 990, 997, 998, and 1300 in a full spectrum of hues from black to light teal.

Adidas NMD R1

Pharrell’s adidas NMD Human Race Collection won’t be the only batch of adidas NMD R1 colorways releasing this Thursday, September 29th, as today we get word that adidas Originals has partnered with Foot Locker Europe for an exclusive option to give you one more colorway should you miss out on the hyped “Hu” releases.

adidas NMD skips out on the woven Primeknit for a bolstered breathable mesh featuring simple, understated monochromatic black finish. The three stripe branding on the side panels is nearly camouflaged through a matching shade while the traditional “The Brand With The Three-Stripes” wordmark lands on the heel tab in a contrasting white font. Bape x Adidas NMD R1

Now that the adidas NMD has established itself as one of the most recognizable, coveted, and relevant sneaker models today, the brand is beginning to align itself with the best shops and labels around the globe. We’ve already seen the works of mastermind Japan and Offspring, but there’s no questioning that the duet by A Bathing Ape aka BAPE is what we’re all waiting patiently for.

Today, we receive a detailed look at both silhouettes courtesy of stripecenter. Both versions make use of the iconic Bape camouflage print in two colorways, with white taped stripes on the upper and matching NMD “bumpers” on the midsole. Both feature white Boost cushioning, and no, you won’t find any Primeknit on here.

The BAPE x adidas NMD R1 is scheduled for a release on Saturday, November 26th, 2016. Both pairs are set to retail for $150 USD and should be available worldwide.

Nike Air Unlimited Retro

Nike basketball collectors have been asking for it for years, and now it’s finally coming back: the Nike Air Unlimited. The extra high-top and amply strapped up hoops shoe made famous by David Robinson in 1994 is finally returning in OG form, coming soon in this original white, black, and emerald green colorway just like the pairs The Admiral wore in San Antonio. Actually already released earlier this summer when Pigalle brought them back for an all-white collab edition, we knew it would only be a matter of time before the original look made its comeback. Get excited, vintage Nike fans, the Air Unlimited should be on the shelves later this fall.

Reebok’s Year Of Court continues with this two-toned premium vision by Canada’s premier sneaker boutique Livestock. Inspired by a “Bad Day in Court”, Livestock matches a cold grey pigskin suede matched with bright orange detailing on the heel, tongue, strap eyelets, and insole to play off the theme of “Court”, which produced several great collaborations since the start of 2016.
